GigsDex's Terms of Service — eligibility, professional conduct, verification, and the discovery-only nature of the platform.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GigsDex mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Kakshlink under the GigsDex brand ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By registering for or using GigsDex, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law to use GigsDex. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
GigsDex facilitates discovery only. We help guests find professionals and help professionals get found — nothing more. GigsDex is not a party to, and has no responsibility for, any agreement, job, or transaction between a guest and a professional. We do not process payments, do not set or collect prices or commissions, do not guarantee the quality, safety, timeliness, or completion of any work, and do not employ or contract with any professional listed on the Service. Any work arrangement, price, timeline, and payment is agreed directly between the guest and the professional, entirely outside the Service, and at their own risk.
You may register using a phone number and password, or with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. Registration requires you to accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy together, as a single combined consent, at the time you sign up.
Professionals may voluntarily submit a Driving Licence or Voter ID document for identity verification. This is reviewed manually by our team as an internal trust check — it is not an official government identity authentication, and GigsDex is not a licensed requesting entity with any government identity authority. A "Verified" badge reflects that our team has reviewed your submitted document; it confirms identity to a reasonable degree, but is not a guarantee of the quality, safety, or legality of any work you perform, and GigsDex accepts no liability for the outcome of any engagement with a verified (or unverified) professional.
To use "Nearby" search, or to appear in it, GigsDex needs access to location information as described in our Privacy Policy. A worker's saved location is displayed publicly on their profile so guests can see approximate distance; a guest's location is used only to power their own search results.
Professionals agree to represent their skills, experience, and services honestly, to keep their profile information accurate and up to date, and to conduct themselves professionally in any interaction arising from the Service. GigsDex may suspend or remove a profile we reasonably believe involves misrepresentation, fraud, harassment, or other conduct harmful to other users or to the integrity of the platform.
Anyone can submit a review of a professional's public profile; an account is not required. Reviews are published immediately upon submission and are not pre-moderated before going live. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and must not contain unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or abusive content. We reserve the right to remove or edit any review or other user-submitted content, at our discretion and without prior notice, if it violates these Terms or our content guidelines. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant GigsDex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it as part of the Service.
You agree not to: provide false or misleading information; impersonate another person or business; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to bypass our verification process; upload someone else's identity document without authorisation; scrape, harvest, or misuse data from the Service; interfere with the security, availability, or normal operation of the Service; or use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm another user.
The Service uses Google Sign-In (optional login) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications); your use of these features is additionally subject to Google's own terms. GigsDex may, in the future, display advertisements served through Google AdMob to help keep the Service free; by continuing to use the Service after advertising is enabled, you acknowledge that ads may be personalised based on your device's advertising identifier, as described in our Privacy Policy, and that you can adjust ad personalisation from your device settings.
The GigsDex name, logo, app, and website design are the property of Kakshlink/GigsDex and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission. You retain rights to content you upload, subject to the licence granted in Section 8.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GigsDex is not liable for any dispute, loss, injury, or damage arising from a work arrangement, interaction, or transaction between a guest and a professional, or from your reliance on any review, rating, or verification badge shown on the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold GigsDex harmless from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or that your continued access poses a risk to other users or to GigsDex. You may stop using the Service, or delete your account, at any time — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
